The CHISAKI LIME KILN was developed to solve the following problems: In case of rotary kiln, the heat consumption to burn the smaller size limestone and the building cost are extremely high.

Even though the heat consumption and the building cost of the ordinary designing shaft kiln are reasonable, but they are not suitable to burn smaller size limestone. As a result, CHISAKI succeeded to build the shaft kiln with 1/2 of construction cost of the ordinary designing shaft kiln and with similar heat consumption.
